it was..

mood: moody
music: eternal - Taku Iwasaki

watched Samurai X : Trust & Betrayal and Samurai X : Reflection
the 2 OVAs i watched is completely different (concept wise) from the manga and the anime.
the OVAs delivered the darker, gloomier (it's like a 10 times heavier) image of Kenshin.
of course, everyone was beautified to compliment the quality of these OVAs.
accompanied by the orchestrated background music, it definately strengthen the beauty of the darktoned-story.

i mean, i cried when i watch Reflection.
The sadness i harbour is stronger than any other anime/OVAs
*okay but ichi rirottu no namida remained the "MOST DEPRESSING SERIES" seat in my opinion.*
im not quite happy,or to say,not feeling fulfilled with the ending in Reflection.
it's like what the author of Rurouni Kenshin,Watsuki-sensei believed that Kenshin went through all the crap and he deserved to have a happy ending.
to me, it will be a true happy ending if i can see Kenshin comes back without going off again,if you watched the OVA you'll know what im trying to say. (but ugh im like the only one watching anime among my friends)
dang.im gonna read the manga to wash off the gloom.

but i seriously, love the OVAs and the series of Rurouni Kenshin.
you may think it's just another anime,a world filled with unrealistic ideals and fantasized dramas.
but when it made you throw yourself into deep thoughts,it's not pure "fantasy" anymore.
of course, no one normal human being can pull off a Rasengan or even master the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu techniques, which enables the user to literally blow off any living opponents.Worse still, a kame kame ha with you Super Saiyan powers to blow off half the planet *smirks*. Those are the impossibles.
but the values, the insights of human nature, the feelings, the mindset of many animated characters,is a reality check which i find horribly true. (of course you can always find twisted logics too)

artists,is what i call the manga authors.they don't purely draw, but also deliver messages.
sorry if you don't understand what im crapping about xD
i just feel, through certain anime/manga,i can always find things to analyse through or to grasp the meaning behind the curtains.
to me,it's not wasting time afterall.
