this is a very late post about my birthday :D

my family (including the cousins) celebrated my birthday one week earlier because my dad insisted on it. He says "its better to do it earlier than later". hahaha..so we had steamboat and i FINALLY get to eat a piece of cake after banning myself from touching cakes. I tell you, it was heavenly. Thanks to my family ! :D

20th august was my birthday and i celebrate it with my accounting assignment xD. The next day, my uni friends organized a sing-k session to celebrate my belated birthday. Thanks for the time and of course, the presents and the home-made mini cupcakes by ms hew kit mun..i really appreciate them all..*touched* and i get to hear so many songs from all the pros...my uni friends have good vocals i tell you :)

and then, this baka-couple (my baka refers to sweet here.not stupid!) ajak-ed me for another sing-k session. after that, we went to have lunch in pizza hut, and it was sim gor's treat :D thanks to you both !

on the next monday, i followed this vain girl pretty girl to Sakae Sushi cuz she wanted to try out the "sushi cake" idea lol. We ate, chatted and shopped lol..thanks for spending your time on me even if u were darn tired that day :D

其实我大概在form 4 form 5的时候就很喜欢陈奕汛的歌 ：)
旋律不但动听感人，歌词也很有意思。
尤其他的歌词啊~ 但是有时会让我觉得自己好像到了中年时期，人还没老心态就老了 =_=
也很坦白地在这里声明，我本人也比较爱那些所谓“老气”，或是古典类型的音乐。
可能是因为小时就被我老爸所影响吧~陈爸爸很爱 blues, acoustic, classical, 60s ,70s and 80s' rock的音乐。。。
Bob Dylan, The Carpenters, ABBA, Elton John, Jimmy Hendrix(这些歌手以前都很有名)都是他爱听的。
他很爱收集属于这类型的光碟。年纪小小就很手痒的我，总爱乱挖他的CD来听。
所以到现在，我都喜欢这类型的歌。。。非主流行的音乐其实都很赞的 ：)
不过我很矛盾啊 =_= 因为我也很爱electronica xD

定了一台LOMO机~Polaroid机好难找噢 =_=
很多商家都说out of stock了。。。好难过 T_T
(我中毒太深，快要变相机狂了。。。哈哈~)
Digital SLR的basics都挺难的，不懂我这科技白痴能不能成功学上来 =_=
还有啊。。我天天只能对着NIKON D series相机的照片流口水 T_T
钱是个大大大大大问题啊~~~

awww i love 2NE1 :) not really my type of music but i find it funky and fresh, somewhat a breakthrough from the typical sweet girl groups out there..

went for ice-skating with the girls and guys (who are not in the pic and i don't know why haha)..
i suck at ice skating. and am having period pain that time wtf.
but its quite enjoyable :D just the pain part spoiled the funnn.

i booked a lomo camera, u know, those type of cameras where you need to use film and bring it to the shop for developings. I know, its so outdated compared to the digital cameras, which you can get it easily now.
but its kinda cool to me :D i remember my dad used to take tonnes of pictures of our family back in our childhood days...
and i will follow my dad to those camera shop (at eng ann, kodak i think) to cuci the films..
nowadays, u can just plug in the usb cable to view all the pics instantly..

im planning to get a lomo camera, a polaroid camera (save em, they are facing serious extinction), a digital camera and ultimately, a monster cam :D
i know money is an issue, plus its time consuming and requires dedication and skills..
but i think its kinda fun :D im learning the basics (for monster cams) and saving up some moolah.
for that, i stopped shopping and spending money on unecessary things..
for me, its kind hard LOL but i'll fulfill this target :)

i can easily plunge myself in the past.
but never fail to look at the present.
is that a good thing ? =/

lastly, some abstract thinking of mine: i fall..for a better day ahead.

am supposed to go for movie but apparently fren FFK-ed me. (people, im sick of FFKs, dun do this to me liao T_T)

btw my horoscope (leo) says i have AMAZING potential to get involve in intimate relationships around this time.

today, my mom nagged at me because i didn't get my eyebrows done yet.
but i have this horrible experience, whereby my trimmed eyebrows were fugly like shit.
no, not that the girl who trimmed by eyebrows have bad skills in fact, she's skilled and friendly enough to give me advices on the eyebrows and even about skincare.
is just that the sotong me forgotten to tell her "i don't want my eyebrows to be so thin"
so i have this really thin eyebrows, and duno why it kinda magnifies my eyes and lips (i have duck lips ok)
macam obaa-san ok.
anyway lah, im practically a noob when it comes to grooming myself.
imagine, i have this super frizzy and curly hair for my entire 18 years and i've just decided to straigthen it this year.
and i wear lau pek clothes, flip flops lau pek sandals (imagine scholl, eh but their footwear is super comfy, wa suka).
because they are comfy LOL, and i can use these clothes to trick people so they will think that im not so fat :D

speaking of weight, today Expresslink delievered my new weighing-machine, which my mom exchanged for it with her Bonuslink points.
so i tried it, and i am HORRIFIED with the readings.
it's like, compared to the old weighing-machine, im heavier by a freaking 2 kgs.
and i just weighed myself with the old weighing-machine like, yesterday?
and my weight DID NOT change since May 2009, because my old weighing-machine always showed me the exact numbers.
which means, im tricked by my old weighing-machine for a freaking 2 years.
NICE.
looks like the mild jogging routines and pilates workout is not intensive enough (and also blame my weak resolution and good appetite).
time to reflect.

i love fridays.
no classes, no ktm rides, no scorching sun and good home cook food.

time to continue my assignment :)

rosy told me i should blog about this lol..
I did something terrible today LOL..i overslept !
supposed to go for my accounting lecture but my phone's alarm didn't ring..
and so my parents didn't know i have class today..
and i din manage to contact my friends simply because i WAS STILL SLEEPING.
and when i woke up @ 10, i saw miss calls and messages from my uni friends @_@
one of my friend even took the courtesy to call my house phone because they were afraid that something bad might happen to me because i rely on public transport to school everyday, and according to rosy, i seldom skip classes.
awwww...you know i feel bad but at the same time im touched by their concerns..
you know the "lang lai le" (chinese) story ? hahaha
im pretty sure if next time i go MIA again, or maybe something really bad happened to me, my friends prolly wont call me anymore LOL

a few highlights:
1) one of my girls found happiness in her life...enjoice !!! when is my turn (and kuon's turn lol) T_T?
2) incoming assignments.
3) bro's graduation ceremony @ early september.
