hello people :) went for an early movie (around 11.30am) in bukit tinggi JJ to watch Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Seriously, its NOT OVERRATED AT ALL. Thumbs up. No wonder people rewatch this movie for god-knows-how-many-times. i think im in love with Optimus Prime lol. Oh, and yea, Megan Fox is a super stunner.
Ahem.ahemhem.
oklar, i mean he's cute rite? ..FYI, he is Josh Duhamel, played his part as Major William Lennox.

so, i actually went to ipoh on the 22th of june, for 3 days 2 nights, with rosy sherman and jern han. all of us were not allowed to drive, so we opt for the bus instead.
i think the journey took us 2 hours+ to reach ipoh? quite fast actually..
here's some pics =D
Day 1
harhar, 3 of us in the bus, sherman's holding the camera.
after checking in our hotel, we headed for some food. this is the innocent jern han with his ipoh white coffee.
this is our treasurer of the trip. she jotted down all our expenses, aka our DAI KA JIE (cantonese)
and dai ka jie's boyfriend/driver of the trip, and also the one who ensured the safety of our lives in that truck-like-isuzu :D
just a lil peek of the streets of Ipoh. sometimes, i thought im in Klang Town.
and here comes the foooood. har mee.
yong tau foo.
dan tart. cheap and yumyum :)
the gang. from left, sherman, rosy, me and jern han. we were accompanying rosy to get her grandma's medicine. good cucu :)
then we went to this Funny Mountain for soya bean/tau foo far/liong sui. in ipoh, they call it 豆精 for soya bean. thats rosy by the way.
jern han and me with the soya bean and tau foo far.
the couple with their liong sui.
me and dai ka jie.
the roomates. awwwww
we will ALWAYS do that to jern han. LOL
the famous tau foo far. no wonder people (especially girls) in ipoh is so freaking fair !
as usual, her perky poses :) i personally find this photo really nice. it's like vintage+perkiness.
after that, we went for another session of foooood :o its the yong tau foo again.
and the scrumptious asam laksa. the broth is super thick and rich. yummms
ya i know its pretty normal for a 佶仔酸梅(correct?) but this is super sour. ironically, i like :DDD
at night, we went to this Ipoh Parade to kill off some time. rosy and a lump of fats beside her.
it pretty much reminds me of Klang Parade, actually. Rosy again.
then, makan again ~ this is Lou Wong's nga choi. crunchy crunchy
four of us actually KO-ed a whole chicken (small). fuiyoo.
a foh kei (伙记?) helped us to take a group picture.
sherman was focusing on the chicken, and that piece of unfocused face is rosy's LOL
Introducing Saidina, a brother of Monopoly. We drink, ate tidbits and played saidina before hitting the sack. damn funny xD
Day 2
makan lor. this is Sun Seng Fatt's curry laksa mee~
i don't have to describe how nice was it, rite :) ?
sun seng fatt's lou ban took the pic for us :D and he kindly gave some insights about the nice food in ipoh..and also about the 二奶街.
before heading to the yi lai gai, we went for this chee cheung fun in Sin Yong Loong.
different from the ones in KL, this comes with a plate of pure "fun", topped with brown sauce, added with chilli if you like spicy.
this is the 二奶街. in the olden days, the rich bosses from mining industries used to keep and visit their mistresses in these houses.
i didn't know this ! :D
our rented car in ipoh *grins*..its like a 路霸 haha...because its big and makes "fierce" noises whenever Sherman starts the car. bully the small cars !!
this is Sherman's GPS, a device with a sexy-female-voice to guide us throughout our trip. we didn't get lost~
we decided to sing K in Ipoh Parade's Kbox. RM7+ per person? that reasonable without a membership.
group pic.
see, high d. sherman is singing that time, i think ~
i think we're singing some mariah carrey/pussycat dolls or fergie's song. dah high dah.
ice cream in some cafe.name, forgotten. this is the durian-flavored one.
choco+strawberry flavor.
ini dia couple yang comel.
ini..satu guy yang ada girlfriend yang gorgeous, satu perempuan yang masih single and available. SIGH
some food court for dinner. but we went to the opposite food court. but also food court lah no difference. ya, im already dizzy because i keep writing for the captions.
dinner, seafood+rice and vege, which is not in the picture.they have this loud music (trance i think) playing somewhere nearby. FYI, its annoying to eat while listening to such loud music, to me lah at least.
At nite, saidina+tidbits+drinks again lol. we spent our 2 nights in the room and i think i kinda like the hotel (Heritage Hotel) already.
Day 3
Woke up at 7.30am just for the dim sum but its CLOSED FOR RENOVATION =(..went to the opposite one instead. Dim sum galore ~
li xin: ngo oi li gor, goh gor, ah ! dong mai li gor ! (cantonese, ipoh mah)
rosy and my favourite stuffed chillies, among with some yong tau foo (ya we like yong tau foo) sherman's camera is awesome.
cantonese-style porridge. me likey. something like my mum's version.
see, 7.30am is just too early. sleep-deprieved.
never, ever get cheated by cute things. the looked-nice-but-tasted-not-so-nice peanut bun.
ipoh's 伙记 is camera-friendly and customer-friendly. a group pic again.
har gao.
happy three friends.
final group pic in the hotel before leaving. there's another pic with a more formal expression but i like this ~
don't judge a book by its cover. presenting: salted chicken with herbs. this is absolutely de.li.cious.
we wanted to go Indulgence, a restaurant located near the hotel which we're staying at..but due to time constraint, we simply missed it :(
reach puduraya bus station around 6ish in the evening and i took the train home.i was unfarmilliar with the putra train station..as i never took the train there before, so i kept asking the other passengers about the way to KL Sentral and to Pelabuhan Klang station..
many thanks to those kind souls :) and i actually wore a mask because im not feeling very well that time/partially because the swine flu LOL..
and so many pairs of eyes were like..looking at me (and jern han actually, he's wearing one too) LOL...
it was, overall, fun and fulfilling :D
trips like these makes me feel a lil more responsible towards my own actions, like settle our own things, getting to know what/where/how are we going to do things, plan beforehand etc etc.
yea, because i keep leaving things behind, sometimes its those important things like my purse or handphone.yes i know its horrible.
IMO, its because i keep thinking my parents will keep reminding me about this bad habit of mine.
so trips like this actually makes me felt more alert.
lets do this some more :D
